BoombatchaChristian Lang, also known as “Boombatcha”, is the founder and label manager of Kindred Recordings. He is originaly from England and has been dj’ing for over 20 years. During this time he has played alongside world class artists such as: Sasha, Dave Seaman, Jimmy Van M, Colin Dale, Dj Remy,  has played at industry leading dance events such as Global Underground, Ministry of Sound tour party, has had releases on highly acclaimed record labels like Sumsonic records, Aenaria recordings and has been resident on Paris’ oldest electronic music radio station, FG 98.2 fm. He has withstood the test of time and his experience has allowed him to develop his own unique identity.

He started his career as a dj in 1989, at college radio and various college parties in Portsmouth, England. In 91, he decided to move to Paris, then at the opening of Eurodisney in 1992 he organized parties for the employees of the park, the memorable « Fog-it-up » parties at the Boule Bleue. After the large success of these parties, he was quickly noticed and started playing for many Parisian clubs and organizers. In 95, he became resident dj on FG 98.2 fm radio for two years and at the Gibus club for a year and a half where he had the opportunity to play alongside dj's such as Dj Remy, Colin Dale, Charlie Hall, Charles Schillings, Dj Roussia, D'Julz, Ministry of Sound tour party etc..

He also participated during two years as translator and interpreter for Out Soon magazine France, a club culture magazine originating from Belgium, his primary role involved undertaking interviews for well known international djs and artists such as Carl Cox, Carl Craig, Sven Vath, Luke Slater, Grooverider, Leftfield, Peshay etc.. Since then, he has worked two seasons in clubs, one in 98, at Nightlife in Greece. Other residencies in 2000, at Oxygène, near les Arcs in the alpes.In August 2002, he was made resident for a record of six years shortly after it's opening at the bar club, Lizard Lounge in Paris wich contributed to the bars' reputation.

A collaboration with his pals Massi & Fred Sarda saw the birth of the Quattrocento parties which quickly became a huge success starting at the peniche K-Lounge venue and progressing to one of Paris' oldest and well-known clubs, Les Bains Douches.

Other projects included launching the Connected parties with his pals Faskil & Birdy, these parties were also a success amongst the locals and became well known for their friendly family atmosphere.

His last spot involved playing regularly for Global Underground parties at, Les Bains Douches, where he played alongside some the world’s most well known artists such as Sasha, Dave Seaman, Jimmy Van M, Lexicon Avenue, G-Pal, Boarder Community, Traffic, Nugen, Yunus Guvenen (Bedrock) & Petter.


Boombatcha is totally devoted to the production of his music, he was chosen by Bacardi Martini France in 2003 to produce 10 exclusive tracks for their Summer CD project, which is distributed by BMF to over 3000 clubs and bars all over France. The CD “Pronight.com Utimate Mixdown” can still be ordered from various Bacardi Martini websites for the second year running, such as GET 27 and PRONIGHT.

In 2003, he signed “Kotozen “ to Britain's highly acclaimed, Sumsonic Records in London. Then in 2006 he made contact with Italian dj and producer Luca Ricci, Luca chose 8 tracks for release on his label Aenaria recordings, these 8 tracks were released as Boombatcha's first album entitled "Out Of Body Experience". About the same time he started to collaborate with Parisian based progressive house lablel, Atlant Digital which resulted in the release of two EP singles "Bring It On" and "Closer". Shortly after "Closer" was released, the track started to gain interest accross the Atlantic and could be heard in the sets of people like Jondi & Spesh (USA) and also the Flash Brothers.
